Terms of Service

Last updated: June 12, 2026
Welcome to Versyn. These Terms govern your use of our website and services. By using Versyn, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who we are

Versyn is operated by Versyn LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States ("Versyn", "we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What Versyn provides

Versyn provides digital tools that let users create independently-verifiable proof records for digital files and related data. When you use our service, we generate a signed record that allows you and others to confirm that a file existed in a specific form at a specific time.

As an evolving technology company, Versyn continuously develops, improves, and expands its offering. Our services include the tools available today and any additional features, products, tools, integrations, interfaces, or systems that we may introduce, connect to, or make available from time to time. We may add, modify, combine, or discontinue features as our product grows, and these Terms apply to all current and future parts of the service unless stated otherwise.

3. What our records mean

A Versyn record confirms that the holder of our published signing key signed a file's fingerprint at the stated time. This shows the file existed in that exact form at that moment and has not changed since.

A Versyn record does not make any claim about the content of a file, who owns it, whether it is lawful, accurate, or original, or how it may be used. You are solely responsible for the files you submit and for any decisions based on our records. Versyn vouches for the integrity of the seal, not for the underlying content.

4. Your responsibilities

By using Versyn, you agree that:

5. Plans, payment, and billing

Versyn offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (for example, monthly) at the prices shown at the time of purchase. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers on our behalf; by purchasing a plan you also agree to the applicable provider's terms.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively cancel a period already paid for. Prices and plan features may change, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect you.

6. Refunds

Our refund terms are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Privacy and your files

We designed Versyn to be privacy-respecting. For most file-sealing actions, your file is processed on your own device and only its fingerprint is sent to us — we do not receive or store the file itself. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Service availability and changes

We work to keep Versyn available and reliable, but we provide the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may update, expand, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time as the product evolves. We are not liable for interruptions, changes, or discontinuation of any feature.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Versyn and Versyn LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or any record it produces. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

As our product and company grow, we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of Versyn after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
